The story so far

Louise King

Louise King, the founder of Kingstar Yoga, is passionate about sharing the many, amazing benefits of yoga with others. She has been teaching a weekly yoga class for colleagues at her workplace since March 2017. This wonderful experience inspired Louise to undertake her yoga teaching training (Yoga Alliance Registered 200hr YTT) with Waking Minds Yoga in the Cotswolds, which she completed in June 2019. She has since undertaken a further 50 hours of yoga teacher training in Rocket Vinyasa with Leon London and 25 hours of teacher training in Gravity Yoga with the Yoga Teacher's College. Louise has always loved teaching and for many years was a part-time drama teacher, running courses for both children and adults, including university students and adults with learning difficulties. The first regular yoga class she attended was at the London Buddhist Meditation Centre. Louise quickly discovered that the poses were benefiting her in many different ways. Not only were the postures helping with her back pain and stiffness from an injury, she was also developing a greater sense of inner calm and peace. As Louise deepens her practice, she has learnt the importance of patience, kindness to oneself and embracing your in-breath and out-breath. Louise believes yoga is for everyone and hopes that anyone that attends her class will have fun and feel encouraged, supported and inspired.
